Solution
- Post receipt inspection
The appearance inspection mainly checks whether the substrate and cover layer are damaged, whether there are rust spots on the sensitive barrier, whether there is a risk of wire breakage, whether the sensitive barrier is arranged neatly, whether there are short circuits, gaps, broken barriers, scratches and deformations, and whether there are bubbles, wrinkles, and pits on the substrate. If you find any of the above phenomena, please contact our company personnel immediately.
- Selection of Adhesive
A. For short-term testing such as stress analysis and deformation testing, it is recommended to use 502 adhesive for bonding.
B. For the production of high-precision sensors and other products, AL610 (A, B glue) needs to be used for pressure and high-temperature curing.
The above two types of adhesives can be purchased from our company. For specific usage methods, please refer to the manual or call for consultation.
- Lead welding method
Before welding on the surface of the strain gauge, the residual adhesive and oxide on the surface of the welding end should be gently wiped off with water sandpaper or sand containing rubber, and cleaned thoroughly to facilitate welding and avoid damaging the welding end; The welding temperature should not be too high (the room temperature strain gauge should not exceed 250 ℃), the welding time should not be too long, and welding should be carried out quickly to avoid damage to the welding end of the strain gauge caused by high temperature, reduce insulation strength, etc. Welding leads should be made of soft and not too hard wire to prevent damage or detachment of the wire when subjected to prolonged force; Try to leave a stress relief ring on the connection line between the welding end and the wiring terminal of the strain gauge to avoid internal stress concentration on the connection line when the specimen or elastomer is subjected to long-term stress or a large range of temperature changes, which may cause lead wire breakage and open the bridge or circuit.
After welding, the flux should be cleaned thoroughly without any residue to avoid affecting the insulation strength and resistance value of the strain gauge. After completion, the insulation strength should be measured again.
- Protective treatment
In order to achieve dust-proof, moisture-proof and other effects, 709 adhesive can generally be used for the protection of strain gauges to protect the exposed parts. It is required to apply it evenly, and then cover it with silicone rubber such as 703 and 704.
